In the history of OMEGA, the name Trésor (meaning treasure) first appeared in 1949. At that time, it was used to describe the 30mm caliber movement inside the watch. This highly precise movement, coupled with its incredibly compact dimensions, enables OMEGA to create thin and light timepieces.

In 2017, OMEGA brought new life to the Trésor line of watches. Still thin and classic designs in the form of dress watches (party watches), but the appearance of Trésor has been improved to make it more modern and youthful. And this year, OMEGA presents the smallest version of the Trésor ever: the De Ville Mini Trésor, measuring just 26mm.

Personally, I always have a hard time choosing a watch, because I have a wristband of only 15cm, which makes it difficult to fit large, thick and heavy watches. But the OMEGA De Ville Mini Trésor is different. The slim design makes my wrist look elegant, not heavy.

The Mini Trésor collection from OMEGA is part of the classic De Ville line of dress watches. There are many different designs. But personally I love the designs with toile de jouy straps.

Toile de jouy (fabric from Jouy) was born near the palace of Versailles in France in the 18th century. This is a motif representing elegant French beauty. Although it has an idyllic countryside breath, it is associated with the lifestyle of the French royal family.

The toile de jouy motifs used for the De Ville Mini Trésor watch have been specially designed by the OMEGA team based on images of ceramics and antique furniture. The hand-drawn design is applied to the watch’s strap. The three colors applied represent the three identities of OMEGA: gray for galactic expeditions, blue for the ocean, and rose red for the beauty of the Earth.

It is no exaggeration to say that the De Ville Mini Trésor Toile de Jouy is OMEGA’s most fashionable watch designs for this year. The strap, in addition to being available in three elegant colors, is also available in two lengths, single tour (single ring) and double tour (two rings). With the double tour model, the watch is transformed into a trendy bracelet.

Nice little watch on the wrist

The designs have a 26mm dial, both sides of the face are bordered by a series of asymmetrical baby diamonds. At 3 o’clock is a petunia crown in beautiful crimson enamel.

The dial is covered with shiny Grand Feu enamel. Delicate elongated Roman numerals are sharply drawn in a ton-sur-ton color scheme with the strap.

You can choose between a sharp polished steel case, or a luxurious Moonshine™ gold case. Gold case on a single bracelet, steel case on a double bracelet.

The OMEGA Caliber 4061 is powered by a quartz battery designed to minimize energy consumption. And as usual, the OMEGA De Ville Mini Trésor Toile de Jouy model also features a mirror back that allows the user to covertly edit the look.
