In parallel with BIGBANG’s music projects, G-Dragon continuously invests in his personal fashion brand PEACEMINUSONE. He has a long-term partnership with Nike for limited edition sneakers. The most recent release is the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1, an all-white sneaker with 3D perforations reminiscent of a dandy men’s brogue.

However, just appearing in an exclusive photo shoot with Vogue Korea, the male singer revealed another version of these shoes. It’s a white model with a black border, called “Panda” after the bear whose fur is also black and white.

The male idol appeared in most of Chanel’s outfits for the photo shoot with Vogue Korea. But on his feet was a pair of shoes of his own design. The black and white colors and unisex style of this sneaker really match with Chanel products, the brand that designed the two-color shoes. Therefore, it takes a lot of eyes for fans to notice that G-Dragon is “teasing” his new design.

At a glance, the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 “Panda” sneakers have an identical design to their all-white predecessor. The only difference is that the contours are done in black leather. Thanks to that, the 3D-cut details on the shoes are even more prominent.

In the original design, the upper tongue cap is white, decorated with slim black Nike and PEACEMINUSONE logos. Coming to the “Panda” pattern, this color play is reversed.

The sole “Panda” is also finished in black rubber, instead of white rubber. Contrast gives a more edgy style to the “Panda” model, when compared to the original pure white version.

According to fashion speculation websites hypebeast, PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 “Panda” is expected to be released in late 2022 with a price tag of $180. It is not clear whether G-Dragon will “re-compile” and make many other small versions to give to relatives and friends.
