On the occasion of the Lunar New Year season, the brand launched an exclusive collection inspired by the mysteries of the year’s mascot according to the Chinese concept: the Rabbit.

Celebrating the Year of the Rabbit (or Cat in Vietnam), Salvatore Ferragamo chose to find the ancient meaning of Asian culture. As a symbol of benevolence, beauty, and elegance, as well as the luckiest of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals, the rabbit is the symbol of this year’s Lunar New Year.

With a collection of ready-to-wear and iconic accessories that combine traditional Chinese culture with the brand’s aspirations, Salvatore Ferragamo subtly conveys the message of a peaceful and prosperous 2023.

The rabbit appears in a charming picture with peach trees and bamboo leaves. His big eyes give a graphic impression to the bags and card holders. Shot in macro mode, the eyes are deep, pure as gems, inside the gentle and elegant figure that enlivens a range of sophisticated apparel and accessory designs for men and women.

Besides, the red, blue, and white patches further accentuate the dreamy backdrop against the monochromatic red Ferragamo background, like the leather sneakers with perforated details and the floating blouse combined with a pleated skirt.

The capsule collection designed by Creative Director Maximilian Davis includes silk scarves, shirts and skirts, low-neck sweaters, urban jackets, and soft cotton t-shirts paired with flats, Gancini belts, and handbags. Small leather and traditional handbags like Trifolio and Studio.

In addition to the soft leather accessories, a luxurious version in imitation eel leather with palladium finishes is also present in the collection, embodying the brand’s DNA of contemporary elegance with the vision of a bright future.
