Actress Song Hye Kyo is the Asia-Pacific ambassador of the luxury jewelry brand Chaumet. So she was invited to attend the French jewelry brand’s latest party in Paris, which coincided with Haute Couture fashion week. And here, Song Hye Kyo met Filipino millionaire Heart Evangelista.

Chaumet’s new haute joaillerie collection is named Ondes et Merveilles de Chaumet , which roughly translates to waves of wonder. This is the first time the French brand has dedicated a whole collection of high-end jewelry to the theme of the sea. Thereby reminding about the voyage of the sea, about the treasures under the water and the beauty of the waterside.

To emphasize the theme, Chaumet had a party at Molitor, a Parisian swimming pool dating back to 1929. The surrounding pool was decorated to bring guests to the open sea. The jewelry is designed like the crashing waves or the coral reefs swaying in the water, showing the superior craftsmanship of the French brand.

The guests, in addition to Song Hye Kyo and Heart Evangelista, also include actresses Diane Kruger, models Cindy Bruna and Coco Rocha, influencer Chriselle Lim. All are dressed in the most splendid jewelry from Chaumet.

Paris Fashion Week takes place in early July is an occasion for fashion houses and high jewelry to present the latest collections. Parallel to the haute couture collections are one-of-a-kind haute joaillerie jewelry.
