The TB monogram pattern first appeared in August 2018. It has a geometric style and has a 3D structure, different from the plaid tartan pattern familiar to customers of the 166-year-old brand.

To help the TB monogram become a “familiar face”, each year, Riccardo Tisci will set up a special promotional campaign for it. Starting with Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Naomi Campbell and now Gisele Bündchen.

In 2022, the TB monogram motif was first combined with the checkered lines of the British fashion house. It was printed all over cotton gabardine trench coats, glossy bomber jackets, towels, swimsuits and even sunglasses.

Have fun: TB stands for Thomas Burberry, the name of the brand’s founder. Even so, some people are skeptical that it still represents Tisci and Burberry – despite Riccardo Tisci’s denial.
