Jisoo was born in a family of siblings, so she was especially touched by the story of Catherine Dior, who was Miss Dior who inspired the brand’s first fragrance. “The story of Christian Dior’s sister Catherine is very emotional,” said Jisoo shortly after learning about the historical story. “She had a difficult life but the fact that she found the inner strength to remake her life impressed me. I am delighted to see that Maria Grazia Chiuri’s work is inspired by the story of Catherine Dior.”

Jisoo also expressed surprise when she learned that her favorite flower, the lily, was also important to Dior. She was fascinated to see a few dresses in the archives that featured flowers in their prints and designs.

Although it was just a visit before the main event, Jisoo still invested heavily in costumes to match the ancient heritage space with the rich history and luxurious style of Dior. The female singer chose a design from the Spring Summer 2020 collection, a black dress with a see-through lace top that was delicately worn over a black 2-piece top and embellished with lily flowers. The lower part is a layered skirt to increase the float and a large belt to help slim the waist.
