At the end of the first day of Copenhagen Fashion Week, designers Simon and Nana Wick’s brand (Di)vision delivered a shocking performance. Called Dressed for Disaster, the Fall/Winter 2023 (Division) collection is for those who don’t like being framed in any form. That’s why at the end of the show, when the guests were sitting around a round table, the model suddenly stood up. She walked away dragging the tablecloth and scattered food. The end of the skirt is the tablecloth.

(Di)vision continues its journey of upgrading recycling in this Fall Winter 2023 collection. The Simon and Nana Wick couple started off with old-fashioned motorcycle jackets paired with pajamas underneath. Old jeans are recycled into stylish dresses, or scrap denim is turned into very cool boots.

The collection is grunge-inspired with the first geared towards the ’90s skating culture and the latter more geared towards Y2K.

Sharing about this collection, Simon said: “I feel from a contemporary point of view, we know that making fashion is not just about creating beautiful clothes but also having to have a commercial point of view. I feel like that’s what we’ve tried to do and make it easier to use.”

Simon and Nana Wick have upgraded their occasional deadstock to fashion products with dusty style.
