Artist Clément Vieille created the perspective to present this new work. He immerses visitors in the heart of Hermès chronometric artifacts. Like Hermès designers and artisans, Clément Vieille explores synthetic materials and the most creative forms: “tensegrity” structures are sustained only by the precise spatial arrangement of the elements. Compression and tension factors, woven carbon fiber sheets, mass-dyed materials… Clément Vieille’s visual works explore the full potential of matter.

Through many routes of discovery, visitors are immersed in a precise and dreamlike mechanism that evokes the heart of a mechanical watch. The sculptures are interspersed – clocks floating in mid-air. The Hermès H08 chronograph celebrates the union of human craftsmanship and the creative nature of art, offering limitless interpretations of forms and textures.
