This is a liquid containing cotton or synthetic fibers in a polymer solution, which evaporates and binds like a stretchy fabric on contact with the skin. This special material is like a new solution for the future as it can be molded into any shape and is ready to return in liquid form to change into another design. Two Coperni designers worked with Fabrican for six months to prepare this piece.

Fabrican showed its magic as it perfectly embraced Bella’s body, moving and rippling naturally with her every step. What’s unique is that it obviously has to solidify to form a shape that doesn’t appear to stick to the skin and doesn’t have a lot of wrinkles on the skirt either.

Designer duo Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant push the boundaries of fashion technology to new heights. The decision for this groundbreaking collaboration is partly a tribute to Alexander McQueen and partly inspired by Coperni’s idea for a new collection.
